I love Casablanca! #1

mommytoj

Great list!

Janet

LOVE #6, great movie!

Angela at mommy bytes

Awesome list, just fun reliving all those moments. Great attribution too.

Malcolm

"Casablanca" is arguably the most quotable film ever. There are people who have never even seen it who know lines from it.

It's funny that you listed a line from "A Few Good Men" because my TT from last week featured Jack Nicholson movie quotes.

Shiloh Walker

Nope... didn't know any of the writers behind the line... and that's kind of sad for me.

One of my fave movie lines... "You can't handle the truth!"

A Few Good Men... I believe by Aaron Sorkin

Lara

We were just discussing "Mulder-isms", those dry, witty lines delievered by David Duchovny on X-Files. NOW, do we applaud the writer who wrote the line, or the actor who interpreted and delivered the line?? Tough one, huh?
Great post!

momhuebert

Was that last one from The Wizard of Oz?

melissa

I love Princess Bride, although my favorite line from that one is:

"You keep saying that word. I do not think it means what you think it means"

Slacking Overachiever

I love lists like this! Happy TTing!

oh noo!! last night we were at a restaurant with a piano player and I was trying so hard to remember the name of the song from Casablanca and I sent my daughter to request "time after time". haha. I'm a nerd.

Casabalanca! Wow. Now I wanted to see that again.

Happy TT.

maggie

Good list. I am chagrined to admit that I do not recognize all of the quotes...

luna

love these! fun inspiration for movie-viewing. ~luna

Kelly

"And don't call me Shirley." Ha! Love that.

Great list, and nice tribute to the writers.

Lee

Didn't Larry Kasdan provide screenwriting on Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi? I really enjoy most of his movies (you gotta love "all I did was kiss the girl" and "You're not Baxter? No, I'm not Hawley" from Silverado), but how in the world did he follow up The Big Chill with Grand Canyon!?
