*standing ovation*

As a native NYer I couldn't agree more. This woman is dangerous. Ignorant, divisive, unwilling to even pretend to be the leader of ALL Americans, and utterly unfit for a position of this magnitude. She's dangerous. Very very dangerous. The air quotes pissed me off, but this is far and away beyond, this is a threat to the very core beliefs America stands for.

I'm not TT'ing today, but I'm off to go link this on Twitter now.

Well said! The woman is a cretin. maybe her ancestors crept in from Russia?

Did you read that the RNC has spent over $100,000 on designer clothes for her? Yes, all small town "real" American hockey moms wear haute couture all the time!

Judi

interesting take

I think you should mail this letter, but thanks for letting us read it before you do.

Very well done! This is just so very true. We slice the pie and we always cut someone out. In my understanding of the United States, we don't cut people out of our hearts, minds or country.

YAY!

The Gal Herself

I LOOOOOVE THIS! Of course, I would, since I live in that hotbed of domestic terrorism, Chicago. Home of Rev. Wright, William Ayers and Barack Obama. And Ernie Banks and Michael Jordan and Oprah Winfrey and Roger Ebert and all kinds of other dangerous domestic terrorists.

I think you'll find "small town values" in any large city apartment building.
Both the good and the bad.

Sarah Palin and her ilk talk as people who have never lived in a large city, and for that matter, never been "inside the Beltway" long enough to see that there's more here than monuments and "Georgetown cocktail parties".

Here's hoping on November 5 we send her back to that small town in Alaska and let THEM deal with her!

Maura

Well said! I'm also a native New Yorker, now living in the liberal elite Bay Area, so I guess I'm twice the fake American in Palin's view.

But I know her view is so shortsighted as to be laughable that I don't let it bother me. I just hope that after Nov. 4th we never have to hear her yammering on about this stuff ever again because divisiveness is NOT what we need in Real America.

Don't let the crazy lady get to you, she must have left her meds at home before she hit the campain trail. Don't nothin' worth a lick of sence come ut of that woman's mouth, and McCain has the audacity to call her an example of womanhood? Not this woman!

Awesome!

For the sake of my blood pressure, I try to avoid news clips with Palin's name.

My cousins live in NY! Hurray for those brave New Yorkers! Woohoo!

Alicia

wow! I can't believe she said that!!!

Good response though!

Brilliant!

Love this TT. It's wonderfully refreshing to hear and read your honesty. In my opinion Palin is not the sharpest tool in the shed. I hope McCain/Palin aren't elected. I feel we will be in big trouble. Also, I've really enjoyed reading your posts, so I've added you to my blog roll. Thanks for sharing. Take care.
